Helicopter Event with Pollux Aviation
On the 4th of November, Pollux Aviation came down to our building for an educational
and thrilling event with helicopters! Starting around 11am, we had an informative presentation
from a Pollux team member, who discussed career opportunities, training pathways, safety
procedures and more! We provided hot chocolate, cider and some delicious sandwiches as
well, before the discovery ride part of the event. After the presentation, around 24 students got
the chance to go on a short ride around Lake Hood in Pollux’s R-44! Overall, the event was a
fantastic success, and we hope everyone had an incredible time like we did! We can’t wait to do
this again and inspire more people in the community to get involved and passionate about
rotorcrafts.
