NextGen Spotlight

Recently, members of our NextGen Aviation Club expressed an interest in more purely social events where they could network, make friends with similar interests, and build a community! We loved the idea so before the holidays, we hosted our first NextGen movie and aviation trivia night. We received great feedback, and it was definitely a success! Members shared pizza, popcorn and had some drinks while they enjoyed the Tom Cruise classic, American Made! They were also able to compete for some Alaska Airmen swag by playing a few rounds of aviation trivia! We are always seeking out ideas for different NextGen events. Please reach out if you have ideas to share, would like to mentor a young aviation enthusiast, or would be interested in hosting an event at your place of business. Our community is stronger with your help! Later this month, we are holding a scholarship outreach event in Kenai, so mark your calendars for January 28th, 4-6pm!
