I'm from the Eastern Plains of Colorado. I have been doing a lot of research and was glad to find this site. I am looking at taking a nursing job there and would love for someone to contact me for more information about Anchorage!!!

I am in Santa Clarita California (40 miles north of Los Angeles on Interstate 5 - where Magic Mountain is at.) I love Alaska & think your new Camera set up is great! I have been to Lake Hood and Spenard a few times since the late 1990's and want to come up to enjoy your State, not to mention the Corn Fritters at Sourdough Mining Company. I have even planned lay overs in Anchorage when flying out of Fairbanks just so I can have dinner and enjoy the Corn Fritters. As a lower 48 Single Engine Land and Sea Pilot ( and CFI, instrument Airplane) I really enjoy the ATC and the views.

Thank you.

Ed

Lake Charles (Moss Bluff), Louisiana. Our son lives in Anchorage. He works at Stusser Electric. We have been to Alaska many times, at different times of the year. We have enjoyed every season. But our favorite is summer. We love the looooooooong days.

I am viewing the web cam from Anaheim, California. I was born and raised in Alaska for 19 years. My father was a bush pilot for over 31 years and my Grandfather, William "Bill" Rees worked in the old small hanger where the orange and black Grumman Goose that Ray Tremblay used to fly has been sitting since the Heritage Museum has been in place. I have spent many, many hours on that lake. My father bought N9855X, a Cessna 185 from Hank Rust in 1973 when most deals were done with a hand shake. That same 185 still flies in Talkeetna with Cliff Hudson making Mt McKinley glacier landings on a daily basis. I remember Cliff coming to the house and giving my dad 27 $1,000 bills to make the purchase of N9855X back in 1975, I wept. Every visit back, I always take time to spend at the lake, enjoying my childhood.
