May 8th seems a likely day for the ice to drop (just a guess not knowing much about weather already forecasted)

Well we here in Uk have had snow since 24th December 2009 and it is just starting to melt. Whimmpy compared to Lake Hood, we just haven't been geared to it like those of you in Alaska and other northern countries. Now we are dreading it returning to some UK areas, though we all secretly love the original cleanness of snow we don't like working around it.
But I still watch the cam it is so beautiful and peaceful!
Happy New Year to all.

For 2010, I'm guessing May 9.

Bit early to guess what the weather is going to do this year but put me down for May 5th for the ice to sink.
