Hi you two, from your long years of knowledge is this early for the lake to freeze over? I haven't noticed in the couple of years of watching this site, when it has frozen over previously. And we have only just had bonfire night (5th) over in the UK.

Actually Judith I think it is a little late this year. Usually freezes over during the last week of Oct.

Thanks, in Sheffield I think we may have nearly come up to Anchorage's snow fall last week 4 foot round my way - now it's half melted and is just icing over - in the wrong places! First time we've had snow this deep for 30 years here, hope it's gone by next week not like Lake Hood.
