Yep, May 7, 2012 and the ice is gone. Although I did not win the Super Cub raffle I did win the "ice gone" contest. Now just where do I pick up my free cup of coffee? RED

Looks like ice is floating Judith, all it will take now is a good 25-30 mph southeast wind and it will be gone Don

Tomorrow may be the day, wind forcast for May 5 at Anchorage 13kts, that can get the waves moving and ice packed to the shore.

You had me wondering Don, glad you have broken 'radio' silence to join in again. Don't talk to me about passwords I have so many I'm lost too, at times. Is it my poor memory or is the ice/snow melting from the shore quicker than in previous years? Or is it different camera angles giving this impression. All the best Judith UK
